Day 1 – Cusco City Tour: Ancient Capital of the Incas

Pick-up at your hotel or meeting point at 1:00 p.m. to begin your guided tour through Cusco’s most iconic sites:

• Cusco Cathedral, a masterpiece of colonial art
• Qorikancha (Temple of the Sun), the most sacred site of the Inca Empire
• Sacsayhuamán, with its giant interlocking stones
• Q’enqo, a ceremonial stone labyrinth
• Puca Pucara, a military lookout
• Tambomachay, the Inca water temple

Return to Cusco by around 6:30 p.m. Free evening at your leisure.

Day 2 – Sacred Valley Tour: Culture, Mountains & Inca Legacy

Departure from Cusco at 8:00 a.m. toward the beautiful Sacred Valley. Highlights include:

• Taray viewpoint for panoramic photos
• Pisac Market and archaeological site, a blend of color and Inca engineering
• Buffet lunch in Urubamba, a fertile valley full of history
• Ollantaytambo, one of the last living Inca towns with its fortress and terraces

After the tour, we board the train to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Town).

Overnight in a tourist-class hotel.

Day 3 – Machu Picchu: The Lost City of the Incas

After an early breakfast, we board the bus to the Machu Picchu citadel, where you’ll enjoy a 2-hour guided tour visiting:

• The Sun Temple
• The Main Square
• The Inca House
• Agricultural terraces
• Panoramic viewpoints

You’ll have some free time to explore or hike (optional tickets for Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain, subject to availability).

Then return to Aguas Calientes by bus, enjoy lunch (not included), and take the train back to Ollantaytambo. From there, a vehicle will return you to Cusco, arriving around 9:00 p.m.
